I launched my career in finance in 1993 and spent the following decade working on Wall Street for Bankers Trust Company, Morgan Stanley Trust Company, and Chase Manhattan Bank (now JP Morgan Chase). Climbing the corporate ladder the old fashioned way demanded hard work, dedication and excellent client service. Clients included mutual fund companies, insurance companies and hedge funds. During that time, I worked with some very smart people in the industry, from whom I learned a great deal about finance, how to deliver outstanding value to clients and gained great insight into the investment world. This experience provided the foundation of knowledge and the work ethic I continue to draw upon today. After ten years of living and working in NYC and following the events of 9/11, I felt it was time for me to make a change. I moved to the beautiful southern Adirondack Park, where the mountains are gorgeous and sparkling clear lakes are everywhere. Inspired by the natural environment around me, I developed a deeper passion for financial planning and wealth creation, shifting my client focus from large financial companies to individuals and business owners. Sloan Advisory Group was born out of this shift. It was founded to provide clients the best experience while navigating through their financial lives. And to make a world of difference as a trusted financial advisor.

You can usually find me at the local Farmers Market supporting our local farming community. And whenever I can, I am out exploring the beauty of the mountains and lakes of New York’s great wilderness, the Adirondack Park, either on foot or on my motorcycle.
